Accounts Payable Coordinator

This role is responsible for the timely assistance/coordination of compiling, maintaining and remitting of accounts payable.


  • Verify and retrieve approval of invoices.
  • Process the administration of 300+ invoices weekly.
  • Audit and verify business expense reports for reimbursement.
  • Reconcile invoices with purchase orders, bills of lading and proof of deliveries.
  • Gather corresponding invoicing for all payments via check sent out by USPS or other delivery service.
  • Occasionally process and issue debit memos.
  • Regularly correspond with vendors and respond to any inquiries.
  • Maintain the overall administration and vendor file system of the department.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Heavy administration and filing.
  • Special projects, as necessary
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.



  • Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or closely related field required.


  • Prefer at least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in the Apparel Industry.
  • No experience required.


  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel with Pivot table and VLOOKUP
  • Accounting system/program
